It’s quite common to find these Victorian gift book anthologies of stories and verses marketed to women and girls, but here we have a “Young Man’s Offering.” Dated 1850, the volume is beautifully bound in brown cloth covers with heavy gilt blindstamping on both sides as well as the spine. Several black and white engravings throughout. Very good condition overall with some wear at the corners and top of the spine.
