Vintage cassock for a Catholic altar server from a closed church in Quebec. Mid 20th century. Altar servers are traditionally teenaged boys: I don’t have a “boy” mannequin (sorry!) but the cassock nicely fits my women’s US size 2 mannequin. Of the two available, this one is slightly roomier in the shoulder, sleeve, and total length. Approximate measurements taken with the garment lying flat:
Shoulders: 15.5”
Armpit to armpit: 15”
Sleeve: 20”
Total length: 48”
Condition is good save for two areas that were mended in the back, at the top of the pleats that make up the skirt, accounted for in price. No garment tag: Feels like a cotton/wool/poly blend.
