Published first in Harper’s Magazine, “Nothing to Wear” is a hilarious satire in verse on the vanities of the day. How little has changed! As an avid hoarder of dresses who can’t stop buying more, I could not resist this book for the shop. The black and white illustrations are equally funny and beautiful.

Dated 1857 in plain brown cloth cover boards. Very good.
