Charming, late Victorian sewing box covered with burnt orange velvet & lined with pale green silk. The loops set into the inside lid are for crochet hooks & other small tools. The interior of the box measures about 6” x 4” x 2”, so there is ample room for jewelry or small keepsakes. Refer to photos for condition: Overall good & very usable, though it has a timeworn look. The velvet is balding in several areas, as shown, & there is a tiny hole in the fabric at the front left corner. Sold as is.

- Orders ship once a week. If you need something by a certain date, please let me know before purchasing. I am almost always able to accommodate requests.
Insurance is automatically added to every order for a very small fee, via the service Route. You can waive this insurance by ticking the box at checkout, but if you choose to do so, I cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. I STRONGLY recommend using the Route service: UPS & USPS are notorious for denying claims, especially if a package is lost or stolen rather than broken. Route only requires you to fill out an online form & they pay out immediately without fuss. I make no money on any insurance premiums collected- The service is provided only for your benefit.

- We are happy to ship worldwide once again! Be advised that there's no way for us to know on our end what your customs fees, if any, might be: Shopify doesn't calculate or charge international buyers for customs fees at checkout. Customers are responsible for being aware of and paying any necessary customs fees your country may charge. I am not responsible for packages abandoned at the post office due to unpaid fees.
