Victorian decorative objects made of black lacquer with inlaid mother of pearl are some of my favorite things to collect. Books & albums bound in this material are notoriously susceptible to breakage due to the weight of the lacquer being too much for the hinges. This particular album underwent a contemporary repair of its binding with black velour. I’m not the one who fixed it- But I figured none of my customers would complain about this lovely black! The interior is in pretty good shape with some rips; typical wear for these albums. It contains 11 pages with room for 44 cabinet cards. Some pearl loss. Sold at a very low price as is.

- Orders ship once a week. If you need something by a certain date, please let me know before purchasing. I am almost always able to accommodate requests.
- Insurance is automatically added to every order for a very small fee, via the service Route. If you choose not to insure your order, I will not be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
- If you are outside the US & would like to purchase something, please message me to arrange payment either through Paypal invoice or through our Etsy outpost. I am not currently taking international orders on this website due to a problem with Shopify's shipping calculator.
