Exquisite, mid-Victorian desk set consisting of a black lacquered box with inlaid mother of pearl, two cut crystal inkwells, and a mother of pearl pen. I especially love that this has a drawer! The knob is carved bone. If you aren’t much of a calligrapher, this would be wonderfully repurposed as a vanity box for makeup, bottles of perfume, and jewelry. Refer to photos for size and condition: Very good save for one chipped corner in the back. The nib of the pen is also a little bent but this can be easily replaced.
