Exceptional, late 19th century French glass decanter in the shape of a life-sized lady’s hand holding a dagger. Manufactured by Legras. I was lucky enough to find one of these many years ago, it’s a favorite piece in my collection, and folks have been after me to find another ever since! This one might be a bit better than mine, as the hand is frosted glass and so stands out better. The details are incredible- I love the ring and her elaborate cuff. It’s the perfect embodiment of femininity with an edge. Measures about 14” tall and is in very good condition, though I made no attempt to clean it. There is a string at the bottom of the glass I didn’t want to try to remove, out of abundance of caution.
