Splendid, late 19th century box covered in green velvet with mauve pink silk interior and metal filigree surround. It would have been a dresser box for a mirror, hair brush, nail buffer, etc. The original contents are gone, but I got the box for a great deal so I figured I’d pass it on at an equally good price! I keep almost all my things in antique boxes rather than going to big box stores for storage. This box would also make a gorgeous platform for a display. I picture a small taxidermy mount on it! Measures about 12” x 8” x 3”.

I STRONGLY recommend using the Route service: UPS & USPS are notorious for denying claims, especially if a package is lost or stolen rather than broken. Be advised that there's no way for us to know on our end what your customs fees, if any, might be: Shopify doesn't calculate or charge international buyers for customs fees at checkout. Customers are responsible for being aware of and paying any necessary customs fees your country may charge. I am not responsible for packages abandoned at the post office due to unpaid fees.
