I’ve lost count of the number of black lacquer Victorian calling card trays I’ve encountered, but I can’t say I’ve ever seen one painted to resemble malachite before. It’s an unbelievably stunner! The gold-tone hardware really makes it pop. This would look great in a home that has an eclectic mix of Victoriana and vintage: It really has that giallo movie set vibe.
