It’s always the medical books with the most nondescript titles that have the wildest content. That’s why I chose it for you- despite the rough exterior. Bound in plain brown cloth, the book has quite a bit of foxing to the front cover from exposure to damp at some point. The interior is wholly unaffected, though, and very entertaining to read. In addition to the standard information about the human body & its functions, there are articles on prostitution, amorous dreams, nymphomania, consumption, experimental electrical treatments, phrenology, satyriasis, polygamy, and all manner of diseases. Many black and white marginal illustrations, a few full plates, and a few colored plates as well. Sold as is, since the cover is in less good shape than I’d prefer. The book was simply too much fun to pass up!

- Orders ship once a week. If you need something by a certain date, please let me know before purchasing. I am almost always able to accommodate requests.
Insurance is automatically added to every order for a very small fee, via the service Route. You can waive this insurance by ticking the box at checkout, but if you choose to do so, I cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. I STRONGLY recommend using the Route service: UPS & USPS are notorious for denying claims, especially if a package is lost or stolen rather than broken. Route only requires you to fill out an online form & they pay out immediately without fuss. I make no money on any insurance premiums collected- The service is provided only for your benefit.

- We are happy to ship worldwide once again! Be advised that there's no way for us to know on our end what your customs fees, if any, might be: Shopify doesn't calculate or charge international buyers for customs fees at checkout. Customers are responsible for being aware of and paying any necessary customs fees your country may charge. I am not responsible for packages abandoned at the post office due to unpaid fees.
