Rare and unusual, very early Dennison presentation box c. 1880s with a crescent moon and adorable owl. The box is celluloid, made to look like ivory, lined with green velvet, and engraved with the recipient’s initials along with “Sweet 17.” I had fun wondering with my colleague at Daily Dennison if “Sweet 17” used to be common, as opposed to the 16 we are used to today, or whether it’s referring to a popular song from the time. Either way, it’s a positively charming keepsake. Refer to photos for size & condition. Excellent.

- All sales are FINAL. I strive to provide clear photos & accurate information for every item, & to anticipate any questions you may have. SHIPPING
- Orders ship once a week. If you need something by a certain date, please let me know before purchasing. I am almost always able to accommodate requests.
- Insurance is automatically added to every order for a very small fee, via the service Route. If you choose not to insure your order, I will not be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.
