I love antique dictionaries and reference books like this because they teach you what sort of information was considered general knowledge in a given period. I wonder how many of the names in this book the average contemporary reader might know? Published in 1825 in leather boards. Condition is fair: You can tell the book was consulted often; heavy wear consistent with regular use. Bumped corners, leather flaking around the edges; cracked spine. Interior has some foxing but otherwise the text block is all right. Offered at a low price as is.
