I don’t often buy Currier & Ives prints, but lately I’ve had a streak of very good luck with unusual and interesting designs. This is for my fellow collectors of antique valentines and romantic keepsakes: Entitled “The Love Letter,” it depicts a young girl mischievously leaving a letter for a secret lover to collect from inside a tree. The print is in excellent condition and looks to be in its original frame, fitted to hang from a ring at the top.
