Antique book plate salvaged from a late 19th century edition of M. Boutet de Monvel’s beautiful, iconic retelling of the story of Jeanne D’Arc (Saint Joan of Arc). Evocative of the Japanese prints and Symbolist art that were popular at the time, the book became hugely influential on the design and format of children’s books in decades to come, and has been beloved of readers of all ages since it’s first run.
The prints measure approximately 12” x 9”. Because this plate was salvaged from an antique book that was beyond repair, they are all double sided, so you are getting two prints for the price of one! For framing, choose the side you like the best, or use a double-sided frame to switch back and forth as the mood takes you.

- All sales are FINAL. I strive to provide clear photos & accurate information for every item, & to anticipate any questions you may have. It is the buyer's responsibility to examine these photos clearly & read the description in full before purchasing. If you have any other questions or require further views, you've only to ask.

SHIPPING
- Orders ship once a week. If you need something by a certain date, please let me know before purchasing. I am almost always able to accommodate requests.
- Insurance is automatically added to every order for a very small fee, via the service Route. If you choose not to insure your order, I will not be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
- If you are outside the US & would like to purchase something, please message me to arrange payment either through Paypal invoice or through our Etsy outpost. I am not currently taking international orders on this website due to a problem with Shopify's shipping calculator.
