This early 20th century book about the trafficking in young girls has become extremely popular among true crime enthusiasts & collectors of outrageous or unusual titles, for obvious reasons. Journalism at its yellowest: “For god’s sake, do something!” is blazoned across the top. Many black & white illustrations showing properties where girls were taken & scenarios that lead to kidnap.
Bound in green cloth boards with an illustration of an imprisoned girl on the cover. Condition is fair: The interior is very good but the covers are quite worn, as shown.
