Undated, circa 1930s edition of this Cicely Mary Barker classic, one of seven books she illustrated on the subject of fairies, all tied to nature somehow. Her work shows the influence of the pre-Raphaelites and Kate Greenaway, though her vision of fairies as sweet little children with butterfly wings was quite influential as well. No dust jacket and a chip at the top of the spine; otherwise good.
