Early Victorian wooden document box covered in hide with brown leather trim & tacks. Measures about 12” x 6” x 5”. Condition issues: Hide in the back is coming away from the box on one side. The handle is fused to the lid and there is no key. No hinges: The lid is fixed to the base by the hide, so just be cautious when opening. Original wallpaper lining inside. Offered at a low price as is.
