This very large ceramic centerpiece depicts an art nouveau style goddess figure seated between two deep shells, ideal for flowers. It may be by Royal Dux, who manufactured similar centerpieces with the same kinds of shells on either side. Measures a whopping 27” tall! If not a table centerpiece, she would be a compelling figure in a garden setting or on an altar, especially if you love the sea. Condition is good overall with an antique repair to the right hand shell: A crack several inches long at the bottom of the shell was fixed with plaster and carefully painted over. The repair was very well done- I didn’t even notice it until I inspected the piece closely. The paint blends beautifully into the texture of the shell. Sold at a lower price as is.

I STRONGLY recommend using the Route service: UPS & USPS are notorious for denying claims, especially if a package is lost or stolen rather than broken. Be advised that there's no way for us to know on our end what your customs fees, if any, might be: Shopify doesn't calculate or charge international buyers for customs fees at checkout. Customers are responsible for being aware of and paying any necessary customs fees your country may charge. I am not responsible for packages abandoned at the post office due to unpaid fees.
