You’ve probably seen this Victorian witchy pitcher reproduced in lesser quality many times- and even those are getting high prices these days! Here’s the genuine article from Jones & Walley, stamped with the manufacture date 1842. The design shows a woman in a witch’s hat bending over a fire and cauldron. Her family is on the reverse side.
Measures about 10” at its tallest and is made of heavy, off-white stoneware. Condition is excellent save for some tiny age spots around the spout.
