This pair of Wagner opera libretti for Tristan und Isolde and Parsifal is more than just a nice set of leatherbound books: They are souvenirs from the Bayreuth festival, where Wagner’s operas are performed every year at his festspielhaus built especially for The Ring Cycle. Bound in soft leather covers and dating to the 1880s, they are inscribed by the owner on the front flyleaves and full of handwritten notes- including which Bayreuth performances she attended and who the performers were. I studied to be a dramaturge and these are my two favorite Wagner operas, so this is an instance where the writing in the books adds to, rather than detracts from, their interest. Refer to photos for size and condition: Very good with some rubbing to the leather at the spines.

Be advised that there's no way for us to know on our end what your customs fees, if any, might be: Shopify doesn't calculate or charge international buyers for customs fees at checkout.
