Gorgeous, early 20th century antique tooled and gilded leather jewelry box with an elegant serpentine shape & an art nouveau style lining inside. The leather has darkened and is rather desiccated from age- I leave it up to the new owner to decide whether or not to condition it. Some leather loss, mainly at the back. Personally, I like that abandoned Paris apartment look! In addition, the hinges are a little rickety, one side having been replaced with a nail. The box is definitely in good enough shape to use. Offered at a low price as is.

- Orders ship once a week. If you need something by a certain date, please let me know before purchasing. I am almost always able to accommodate requests.

You can waive this insurance by ticking the box at checkout, but if you choose to do so, I cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. I STRONGLY recommend using the Route service: UPS & USPS are notorious for denying claims, especially if a package is lost or stolen rather than broken. Route only requires you to fill out an online form & they pay out immediately without fuss. I make no money on any insurance premiums collected- The service is provided only for your benefit.

Be advised that there's no way for us to know on our end what your customs fees, if any, might be: Shopify doesn't calculate or charge international buyers for customs fees at checkout. Customers are responsible for being aware of and paying any necessary customs fees your country may charge. I am not responsible for packages abandoned at the post office due to unpaid fees.
