This touching, beautifully kept antique box dates to the early 1900s and features a variety of family mementos:
- Two envelopes with locks of hair and one jewelry box with hair tied with ribbon
- antique tie pin
- antique miniature religious book in soft leather covers
- two hand knitted baby mittens in different sizes
- 2 gem tintype photos in their original paper sleeves of the same girl- I think this was the daughter of the woman who kept the box and the mother of the babies. There is also a beautiful snapshot photo of her
- tiny paper doll parts folded inside a piece of paper
- a handwritten note

- All sales are FINAL. I strive to provide clear photos & accurate information for every item, & to anticipate any questions you may have. It is the buyer's responsibility to examine these photos clearly & read the description in full before purchasing. If you have any other questions or require further views, you've only to ask.

SHIPPING
- Orders ship once a week. If you need something by a certain date, please let me know before purchasing. I am almost always able to accommodate requests.
Insurance is automatically added to every order for a very small fee, via the service Route. You can waive this insurance by ticking the box at checkout, but if you choose to do so, I cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. I STRONGLY recommend using the Route service: UPS & USPS are notorious for denying claims, especially if a package is lost or stolen rather than broken. Route only requires you to fill out an online form & they pay out immediately without fuss. I make no money on any insurance premiums collected- The service is provided only for your benefit.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
- We are happy to ship worldwide once again! Be advised that there's no way for us to know on our end what your customs fees, if any, might be: Shopify doesn't calculate or charge international buyers for customs fees at checkout. Customers are responsible for being aware of and paying any necessary customs fees your country may charge. I am not responsible for packages abandoned at the post office due to unpaid fees.
