This was probably for ties, gloves, or handkerchieves, but I love antique glass boxes for displaying smalls. They are great for things like taxidermy that you want to keep from insect damage- think reptiles or bird skins. Brown wood base with glass sides decorated here and there with rose decals. Dates to around the 1930s and measures about 14” x 4.5” x 3.5”. The only condition issue is the felt bottom- Looks like a later addition and is fixed down with simple tape. I’m leaving it as is, in case you’d like to swap it out with something else. If you like, write to me and I will glue it down for you.
