Each square that makes up the cross is made of painstakingly layered paper, forming little pyramid shapes, and the cross is surrounded by a swirl of lifelike paper leaves. The entire thing was done on black velvet and set into a wooden Adirondack style frame. Some surface dirt under the glass from age but otherwise condition is excellent.
