Gorgeous, late 19th century black and white print of Rebekah at the well, not only a popular Victorian image that set the bar for women’s virtue, but which is also prevalent in Masonic & IOOF circles as an allegory of charity. The print is in its original gilded frame and an unusual hand painted mat with fraternal mottos and symbols.
Measures approximately 22” long in good overall condition with some wear to the molding on the frame, as shown. Dated 1898.
