Bit earlier than the film, but this charming, late 19th century cabinet card photo of a group of young girls in white dresses & fern corsages is giving me Picnic at Hanging Rock vibes. Folks tend to think everyone looked unnaturally serious in antique photos, but I think the girls here look very relatable! I love the warm smiles of the girls who are embracing, the girl on the end who looks bored out of her mind, and the fact that several of them have accidentally closed their eyes at the wrong moment.
