The text on the banner is a little blurry so it took a minute to make out: This pageant was for the bicentennial celebration of the town of Oxford, MA, founded in 1713. I was able to find a program for the festivities online: They were put on by the Daughters of the American Revolution. I’m guessing that the two miniature buildings are significant landmarks in the town, which you could probably identify with research! The photo is presented as found in its original wooden frame. The glass was extremely dirty inside and out, so I opened up the back to clean it and resealed it again. The photo itself is in good condition but there is some foxing on the backing board.
